This is something you have to carefully think about when you decided to have an affair. Deciding to have an affair with someone who is single or married has their pros and cons that you need to think about.

Have an affair with someone who is single.
Pros
• They can be available to your limited schedule and meet when you’re available.
Cons
• They may want you to leave your partner spouse.
• They may cause issues for your marriage, such as confront your spouse, show up at your home, or show up at you work place.
• They can get frustrated at your limited schedule.
• You can become jealous if they are dating other people.

If you decide to have an affair with someone who is single, you need to lay boundaries, explain to them what is expected of them, and that you are not planning to leave your partner or spouse.

Have an affair with someone who is married.
Pros
• They are not wanting a serious relationship, and do not want to leave their partner or spouse.
• They will be just as discreet as you want to be.
Cons
• Times when you can meet up are limited, since both of you are married it may take weeks before you two can have some discreet time together.

    I had an affair with a single guy and at first things were going great for about six months. Then all of sudden he started asking me about leaving my husband for him even when I explained I was not going to. Then out of no where he started showing up at my office with presents, calling me and sending text messages all the time. Luckily it all stopped when I broke things off.

    i had an affair with a married woman (i was also married). figured it was safe because no one would open their mouth about it. things ended and two years later she felt guilty and decided to confess to her husband. to make heself feel better i assume.

    anyway, he winds up calling my house during dinner and tells me wife. she ruined dinner and three people’s lives with her big mouth.
