Is Ashleymadison.com a Scam?

By admin | Mar 17, 2010

There seems to be two sides to this story, those who have success and those who don’t have success using Ashley Madison. Those that do not have success with Ashley Madison immediately scream it’s a scam, when maybe they didn’t have any luck because they were:

  • Demanding
  • Needy
  • A Jerk
  • Couldn’t Communicate
  • Unattractive
  • Over Weight
  • A Pervert
  • Had Weird Sexual Needs
  • Posted Bad or Disgusting Photos of Themselves
  • Their Standards Were Way To High
  • If you come off as any of these above, of course your not going to have any success on meeting someone. The same rules on dating in the real world still apply on online dating, so don’t think you’re entitled to anything.

I hear lots of success stories about Ashley Madison and have friends who hooked up with other individuals on the site. Another thing that tells its users that it’s not a scam is they offer a guarantee. From their site they say the following, “if you don’t find someone within the initial 3 months after purchasing the “Affair Guarantee” Membership Package, we’ll refund you $249, being the amount you paid for participating in the Program” Yes that’s correct, you have to pay $249 for the Affair Guarantee Membership which doesn’t come cheap, but if it doesn’t work out in those three months you can get a refund of your $249. If they are offering a refund, what have you got to lose?
